Before you begin using the Wrkr SMSF Hub, you need to complete the setup of your account. There are three steps:
- Update the ATO with your SSID
- Update the ATO with your new ESA - wrkrSMSF
- Update your the employer / payrolls officer for each of the SMSF members / trustees for their Superannuation Guarantee payment
Steps 1 & 2 can either be done:
- Calling ATO on 1300 852 232 with the following information:
- proof of record ownership (for example personal TFN, date of birth, address, recent ATO-generated notice)
- your Australian business number (ABN), or if you are a registered agent, you can use your registered agent number (RAN)
- the name or ABN of your software provider (which is Wrkr and ABN: 50611202414)
- our unique software ID provided by us (HOW CAN I FIND MY UNIQUE SSID)
- Update the ESA with the ATO : your new ESA is wrkrSMSF
Or Complete Step 1 & 2 ONLINE:
Notify the ATO of the hosted software service via ATO Access Manager
- Select My hosted SBR software services
- Select Notify the ATO of your hosted service
- Search for ‘Wrkr’ as the SBR software service provider in the list, by typing the ABN 50611202414 or name
- Select the ABN link
- Enter the Software ID we have provided you
- Read the Notification statement then select Save
- A success message will appear on the next screen to confirm your notification.

Step 3
Update your the employer or payroll officer of all members / trustees with your new SMSF ESA - wrkrSMSF.
Please find attached a letter you can give to employers notifying them of your new ESA.
